GATE OF HOPE CHURCH MISANDIKA

The Unfolding Faith
When you become a believer in Jesus, your journey to that acceptance of him is your testimony. As you continue in your journey, you’ll find more moments happen where God clearly shows up. These too are testimonies.
Some testimonies may involve great struggle and the story of how Jesus helped you through it. Some may comprise a few different incidents that make far more sense to the believer after they reflect upon them with God. You may not realize you have a testimony until much later, but when you think back, you can see the hand of God working in your life.
In our spiritual journey of faith and discipleship, As Gate of Hope Education Centre we initiated a ministry in the village of misandika in 2019 called GATE OF HOPE CHURCH, An Overnight prayer in a single rented room which later turned into a hope-filled, enthralling and a great way to get to know God and the power of living with faith. It has turned into a living testimony.
Pr. Akugizibwe who has been at the helm of this ministry says that before 2019 ended they had acquired a land and the construction commenced. Though the construction was a little bit sabotaged by the conflicts that arose within the leadership of the Organization, they were able to roof it in 2020. They have been engaged in door to door evangelism facilitated by Mama Honia which has significantly contributed to the growth of the Church. The Pastor recalls the catholic woman who used to chase them away during their evangelism routines but she later received deliverance and got saved; now adays she always calls him for a prayer.
Katusabe Judith, one of the old members of the church says that though she got saved at a young age, she had lived with problems in her womb and heart complications. When this ministry started Judith got treatment with the help of Gate of Hope Organization and she was prayed for by Pr. Akugizibwe and she got healed. She has seen the power of faith and healing unfolding every day in her life”, she says!
To Kakyo Violet another member of the church, it has been such a bumpy road for her. Coming from a family where her mother belonged to a cult. Her mother was very furious when her daughter told her about getting saved. Having lived with mental problems coupled with acute headaches for over 10years, Kakyo didn’t let her mother stop her from getting saved because she needed healing. But guess what! Her choice of Choosing Christ paid of because she is now healed.
