NANKUNDA LILLIAN:
In a typical African country like Uganda where poverty is widespread and most can’t afford to pay school fees, This is where precisely Lillian found herself, Born in a family of 8 children, in Mbarara city . Her father was a business man who used to run a small shop and that’s where he used to get some little money to take care of the family. Her family then decided to move from Mbarara to Kigwegwa district. Being such a big family, her father couldn’t afford to continue to pay for Lillian’s tuition when she completed her senior Four.

Fortunately, the year was 2019 when Lillian got introduced to an opportunity of Gate of Hope through a family friend Pastor Busobozi David where she studied and graduated with a certificate in Early Childhood program. Since then her life has not been the same again. She has grown into an inspiring God fearing young woman.” I have developed good oratory skills, before i was a very shy girl couldn’t talk in public”, She says!
She has always found solace in reading the word of God and Whenever she’s facing difficult situations she takes comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue us from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope .
Lillian has achieved alot since then, The Organizationhas retained her tutor at the Organization and she recently got married to the love of her life Mr. Yowasi. She’s really so grateful to God and she extends her gratitude to Gate of Hope most Mama Honia, Papa Peter and the Polish Donors for impacting her life not only physically but also spiritually.
